This is my firts post :joyman: and i´m going to talk about this rule

Usually, we used to call with small pairs to see our set, but When it is profitable?.
Now talking about "call 20", when can we use this rule?; the first that we have to known is that this rule can be used when we have pairs(22-99) and there was open raise before us. We can use this rule when we have more than 20 bbs X open raise. Now the play in the flop if we not connected our set its preferable do check-fold. Mainly this rule is used in micro limits or when we just starting playing poker.

Good explanation. I have always used the rule in a way that if I can win more than 20x the price of the call, the call is valid. I wonder which is more correct, both give about the same results bar some exceptions.

Ehhh, I wouldn't use this line of thinking too much while playing online but for live the 20x rule with the no set no bet rule is probably fine.

I love the unwritten rule "if in doubt, raise". 99 is not a baby pair.

Tends to pay dividends in tourney play, not so sure about cash games?

I don't understand what you are trying to ask.
