When is the best time to leave the table?

Apparently the table is good, I am not tired, no tilt, but little by little lose my bankroll. From 400bb I drop to 100bb.

During a cash game the best time to leave is when the game is good but then the bad players go broke or leave.

no tilt? if you post that you consider to leave the table because you lost some bbs like 200-300 then it means it afftects you so probably you don't play your a-game anymore. So ye. Probably its best time to leave the table after some losses and make a break. if you play online then don't play deep stack..

Probably you're on autopilot and don't think about the game/hands anymore, so i think this is the best time to stand up and leave. Just a tip: If you want to put in long hours take a 5-10 min break every 1-2 hrs to clear your mind.

There sure has to be a reason.

Maybe your brain isnt that focused after longer sessions anymore.

Like the one said above, take some breaks, and go focused in again or set yourself a cash out limit.
EG once you reach 300-400bbs from 100. That would be a beast anyway!

I find myself getting off after big wins in order to stash some of the winnings away. No need to get caught up in a huge hand, can't afford bad river beats.

The notion of "quitting while you're ahead" is ridiculous if you are trying to play legit poker. The money will come in the long term if your game is solid.

Having said that, I stop playing when I'm tired or when I am just plain having a bad day. When tilt starts to set in, no matter how good you might be about managing your emotions, they will affect you in some way (they affect everyone) so it's best to walk away before you lose even more.

Be aware of "positive" tilt as well...don't become complacent!

The best time to leave a cash table is when you have nothing more to gain at that table...for one reason or other. Or another table looks better.

Well I have to ask you what your goal was to sit at that table?

And, going from 400 BB to 100 BB reflects either a lot of small pots played - or a few large pots lost.

Good luck!

Think through the session you have in mind. Sounds to me like you are playing too many hands if your bankroll is disappearing like you describe. Try playing a little tighter.

If you are loseing your blinds that fast you are playing to many
hands, try taking a break and go back to the table when your head
has cleared.

I usually play cash tables with 9 players ... and I have some reasons why I leave a table ... the first would be that several players have retired at the table ... I play with at least seven of nine players less than seven I retire ... and the other reason is that I try not to play more than 2 hours in a row at the same table ...

When you begin to lose many hands it is best to stand up, rest your mind and then return.
