I won a pot of almost $700 playing $1-$3 at Hawaiian Gardens Casino in Los Angeles a few years ago. I bought in for $100, and at the time of the hand, was up to almost $300. I get A-6 suited (diamonds) and raised it to $15 preflop after two limpers joined the fray. Dude to my left calls, BB calls, and the two limpers call, which was typical for this table. The reason I did a 5xBB raise was to try to winnow the field pre-flop, but it didn't work. After the rake, there was about $70 in the pot.

The flop comes out JD-9D-4C, giving me the nut flush draw. BB and UTG+1 check, but next dude bets $25. I call. The dude to my left folds. The BB calls as does UTG+1. So now there is about $170 in the pot with four players.

The turn is the 10D. I have the nut flush, but there are straight flush possibilities out there. BB bets $25 again, UTG+1 shoves his last $46 into the pot. The next dude, who has me covered, calls. I shove all-in for about $260. BB, who has around $160, calls and it goes back to the dude who has me covered. He thinks long and hard before folding. Since everybody was now all-in, he showed the Queen of Diamonds.

The BB turns over his King high flush (he had K-5 diamonds). UTG+1 shows an 8D (had open-ended straight flush draw) and I flip over the Ace high flush. The turn was the 2 of Diamonds. I thought for sure one of them would have a set and I would have to avoid a paired board on the river, but both of them were chasing straight flushes.

Needless to say my hands were shaking as I scooped up those chips.

Can't remember the biggest I won but certainly do the one I lost. Was about 1300.00 pot with about 500.00 of my money. Hit the straight on the turn to see the board pair on the river. Full house beat me out. Feeling of seeing the pot going away is more memorable than coming to me I guess.

This was several years ago playing at $1-$2 or $2-$2 table at Oceans11 Casino in CA. The game was loose and moving chips around, I had a pair of 10's in late position. I was sitting with a couple hundred, somewhere in the middle of the stack sizes. I dont remember the preflop action but the board came out with 10-8-6 and two were suited. There was action in front of me and I called. The turn came with a seven or 9 along with more action with 3 other people in the hand, one now all in and I was definitely worried. The river paired up and suited up the board, everyone was all in before it came to me and so I called for less somewhere around a $900-$1000 pot. I raked in around $750, the first and only time I remember all that action before me and I was calling for less in a multi-way pot with a full house, the straight and flush were both made as well. With those blinds the table plays mainly with $1 chips so the table was covered with that many chips, it was an absolutely awesome feeling taking down that pot!

Money won is twice as sweet as Money earned!

My most memorable financial win was playing head’s up for a $1000 buy in, which lasted less than a couple of minutes.

I had played and won in a handful of $500 buy ins for 6 player sit and goes, along with a few dozen $100 buy ins for both 6 and 9 player sit and goes, but the one that was the sweetest was definitely the $1000 head's up match with such a quick payout win for myself.

ive won a 500bb pot playin 1/2 with a house over house. I had A5s and opened middle position, the SB 3bet and I called being in position and both deep. Flop came A5K, he checked and I bet, he raised and I called. turn came J and he leads for near pot, I flat call and river was an Ace. He jams 1.5x pot and I snap him off hoping not to be shown AK and he flips over JJ and I scoop the pot and smile.

Everytime i think of this question i laugh. Because i never won a live pot. Idk why. My luck is just bad for it or my skills are to low. But I try and try again until I earn a winning.

I always play tournaments online and I have never played at a live table.
But I will definitely try to play in a live tournament.
Good luck.

500 dollars playing for 30 minutes at 1$/2$ when I was down in Jacksonville, Florida at Orange Park.

I had 1010 vs AK.
Flop came 10AK

The money went into the middle on the flop.

I won $6000 in a badbeat jackpot at a casino in Arizona many years ago.

I had AAAAK, other player had KKKAA

He got 12000 I got 6000 and all the other players at the table got 800 I think.
I do remember I tipped the dealer 600. It was at 7:30 in the morning and I cried LOL !
