Live 1/3 cash game at local casino. 8 handed
In the button with AhJh. All have limped to me. I raise to 18, all but 2 fold, lets call them Pupils and Coolguy.
Flop is Js 2h 2c. It had been a pretty card dead night so I was happy to see that flop.
Pupils checks, Coolguy bets 25. This wasnt unexpected, he has raised almost every flop he has been in and backed off once someone re-raises, so his bet didnt put me off too much.
I was quite short, 65, so I shove. Pupils instacalls, Coolguy folds, low pockets I believe. Pupils turns over A2.
Turn came 10h, but river didnt complete the flush, 6c.
I dont feel like I should have been cautious because of the 2's, in any case im all in after the turn anyway (maybe), but what can I improve on this for future situations, is this the way to play it short stacked? And how should I have approached it if I was deeper? Come on, lay it on me
