why in the world you are playing 87o and calling a 6x raise on it is beyond me... so you should have folded preflop. even still, you have an interesting flop.. there are str8 draws and flush draws (or flushes hit, tho very unlikely against 1 person). in your situation, you have a good and unstable starting flop. (assuming no preflop fold) i would get as much money in there as i felt was reasonable. maybe a raise to 12. if he holds an over pair, a nine, a spade, they can easily crush your hand, so you need to get a lot of money in before he has a chance to draw.

I agree that you shouldn't have called that huge a pfr with 87 o/s, but you did and caught a good, yet scarry flop. Reraise and assess the situation based on opponents response. You're probably facing an overpair and are way ahead, at this point. But really, you can't call pfr's with this weak a holding; you're just gonna bleed money.

i would go all in, the 3 dollar raise shows some weakness, and is probably drawing to nut flush in that case you are favourite,

Weakness? How in the world is that weakness, when he raised huge preflop, and bet the total amount of the flop? I personally don't mind your call preflop, I mean yes, it was loose, but come on ppl, what's he supposed to wait for, AA, KK, QQ, AK, AQ, AJ, really was his call a very bad play? as for the situation itself, I'd have to agree with The,

...You flop a monster, why are you check? There are 3 spades on the board, too. Why are you giving your opponent a chance to see a cheap turn? Bet out here.
becks911: bets $3
...What hand range can your opponent be 6x BB raising with in MP, then C-betting on a flop like this? I smell possible over pair like JJ or missed AK, AQ with possible flush draw. A set is another possibility. I think usually you'll be up against an over-pair, TPTK, or miss/draw. So raise it because you beat a lot of hands here, but you dont want to let a hand draw for free.
