Hi all

What stats do you use on your holdem manager or poker tracker software??

Also do you use different color to see them easier or do you use the automatic color stats that show how high or low the stats are for that spesific stats??
Is it worth it to use that color system?

Also, what are the standard stats for fullring cashgames: Vpip, Pfr, Af, cbet and fold to cbet stats?
What is the standerd stats for WTSD%(showdown%) and W$SD% ??

What does RFI/Steal mean?
Last question: I use AG% instead of AF so whats is the standard for AF and what does that mean, like do they raise more than they call and what is very high??

Thank you

You should stay with few options when using any program because if not tieens experiences you'll probably go crazy with all that amount of options uses 4 3bet , reraise , VPP , ag % is very different from AF

I use Pokertracker 4. My basic HUD that I use at NL2, NL5 and NL10 includes these stats:

  • VPIP
  • PFR
  • Total AF
  • Fold to Steal
  • Fold to 3Bet
  • 3Bet
  • Fold to Flop CBet
  • Fold to Turn CBet
  • Fold to River CBet
  • CBet Flop
  • CBet Turn
  • CBet River

For higher stakes, I have a more advanced HUD with 7 additional stats.

I wrote a monster article on my website explaining every single one of these stats in detail. You can also download and use either of my HUD profiles for free. Article is here.

I play zoom so I like to put less information on my HUD (since sample sizes are always smaller and thus the information is less relevant to me). My HUD looks like this:
VPIP/PFR/AF/Total Hands
FlopCbet/FvFlopCbet
3bet/Fv3bet

If I had bigger sample sizes, I would also include the following:
4bet/Fv4bet
5bet/Fv5bet (useful for players that 4bet lightly, particularly in steal/squeeze spots, then fold to 5bet shoves)
ATS/FvSteal
Squeeze/FvSqueeze
TurnCbet/FvTCbet
RiverCbet/FvRCbet

I'm an online poker noob. Could you explain what each of the stats mean, and how you use them to generalize player types?

You might want to read that article - it explains everything. ;)

And take notes while you're reading it, as it's a gold mine!

Personally, I'm a fan of numbers, so my HUD reads:

Name | VPIP | PFR | 3-bet | 4-bet | Total hands
AtS | FtSteal | Ft3-bet | Ft4-bet | Flop AFq | Turn AFq | River AFq
F Cbet | T Cbet | R Cbet | FtFCB | FtTCB | FtRCB | Notes

That's my custom HUD for cash games. I know it seems very overloaded but I have absolutely no problems playing with it, even full ring.

Again, this looks like a LOT of stats, but these are the ones that I find useful and they don't take up nearly as much screen space as one would expect! Trust me!!! :D
Also I use a very nice color coding that lets me find everything very quickly

For positional stats and a few others that I sometimes use I can click on the HUD and they pop up

I read it since you made the recommendation. Good read.
