Hi pals
I am a tourney player but since last 3 days I have tried to experience the cash games as I am on holidays here in india.

1st day I deposited 500 and went straight to play 5-10 NL game. Once I was hovering around 1800 in an hour play but as I am addicted to play long spell of tourneys. I kept playing say 3-4 hours and finally lost everything, a nut flush vs straight flush.

On 2nd day again with 500 went to play 5-10 game and when I was above 1000 went to play 10-20 game and once I was above 4500 but again after 8 hour of continuous play lost everything against quads...

Now yesterday 500 more in a 5-10 game just in 3rd hand moved up to 1500 and then up to 2800 in a 2 hour of play but lost everything in 2 hands when my A A and K K was beaten by a full house and against A A (pre flop allins)..

Now my analysis are--

1- Whenever we double or triple our buyins we should stop play for that day or must use a stop loss to prevent the erosion of the money??

2- Never play like an addict say for 5-6 hours and then in a critical hand lost everything.

3- Risking real huge money pre flop i.e. allins even having A A is suicidal???

I would like to know how to know that you should stop play for today??
In my case I manage to move my buy ins into triple size but lost everything..

Kindly share your inputs.

Thanks.

Hello.
If I see that I am not lucky, then I always stop the game and take a break. After a rest, I analyze my mistakes, and I continue to play.
