I guess , if I have the nuts on the flop I just bet to get some value and protect it , I have seen many times nut flushes lose to full houses , etc, I cannot just check raise or slow play , and some times the other player doesn't raise , so I lose a betting round . Only if it's a strong nuts imo , like quads , at least full house , I would slow play with checks , etc . But it also depends on the opponent , the situation, if we're HU , etc .
