Everyone loses a lot from the blinds. You're forced to put in money, with a random hand, out of position. There's just no way to completely overcome such a massive disadvantage. In the last 14k hands of my own play, I am winning overall; but, I am losing worse than you are from the blinds. Talking like -76bb/100 from the BB. It's more likely that I am playing poorly from the blinds, than you are.
I could look closer at mine, but I've yet to see anyone with a positive winrate from the blinds over a significant number of hands. It doesn't appear that you're defending too loosely. I probably am.
I guess what I am getting at is, this is probably not the "leak" you think it is. We don't have enough to be sure about anything.
The above comment about 3-bets is huge and will help you a lot. 3-bet In-Position == MONEY. 3-bet Out-Of-Position == not so much. You're creating a larger pot. You win more pots in position than out of it. Creating larger pots in position wins you more money.
There are times to reraise from the blinds, of course. Still, most of your 3-bets should be coming when you've got the best of it (position and/or hand). This is especially true at the micros, where people tend to call more than is proper.
