Unless the BB is extremely (yes, extremely) loose/passive, you shouldn't be calling with any hands.

hmm..whats the worst hand that should be in my SB raising range then? I would hate raising with this hand and then playing oop.

That depends largely on how loose or tight the BB is, but my typical stealing range from the SB is:

22+, A5o+, A2s+, K7o+,K4s+, Q9o+, Q6s+, J9o+, J7s+ and T9.

I adjust this range up if the guy in the BB is tighter, and down if he's loose. The first hands that I adjust away are the crappier offsuit ones. I never fold pairs.

Added to say that PokerStove says that that's 35% of hands. I don't really know if that makes me wild or tight and I haven't actually confirmed with PT that this is roughly true or if it's just in my head that my range looks like that.

What numbers do others get if they look in PT for stealing from SB?

I've been playing some micro (0.02/0.05) over at Stars recently to rebuild after moving almost all of my roll to FT. I've been surprised at how willingly the players give up their blinds. Plus when they don't, they usually call instead of reraise. I've been opening about 75% when it's folded to me on the button. In the small blind, I'd probably halve that. I'm not a big fan of stealing from the SB because of the crappy position, but when they're giving it away I'm willing to pounce on it.

Edit: For the record, my SB steal rate in .5/1 is actually around 20%. But they play back a lot more against apparent steals.

53.1% at 50/1 and it was profitable (ie I lost money overall in these hands but at a lesser rate than 50c/hand which would be the case if I folded).
