3bet a little bigger preflop, 10,10.5,11x. 9x is slightly too low.
Btw you want folds preflop, so when bb cold calls that's really bad for you (utg becomes pretty irelevant once he calls because your 3bet was small).
Once the BB donks the flop and i see he making it 75% or so in a 3-bet pot i already know that he will shove any river, there is no other option there soooo because of this just fold on the flop. You cant beat anything.. there is not a single hand i can think that you can beat on that situation. Unless he is really really bad and he cold calls KJ and play it like that but even If he calls preflop with KJ i don't belive he would just donk shove with that.

on first look really alike an insane bluff,of course if he is a capable to doing this. it is hard to say, because it is very little information about your opponent.

You should have raised pot amount on the flop after he bet. His $8 made it $20 and you flopped top pair with top kicker. By only calling you gave him the room to make an insane bet on the turn like he did. It would have been better to force him to go all in on the flop because you can easily put him on a hand then. On the turn you have no idea what he has and you used your time bank to figure out is $40 bucks worth a pair of jacks. Better for him to think is going all in worth it when he knows you have top pair.

I agree with Gohaku94. in position with an apparently loose player in the BB you do want to size up to at least 3x to 4x. I three bet on the higher side generally out of position or to prevent the BB from getting good odds to call. When he donks that dry board into the pre flop raiser it is for value a majority of the time. Maybe he was holding middle pair? Weak Jx with a BDFD? I think it was a good fold fwiw.
