I'd like to get more ideas for notetaking. For every note I write how many times it happened by putting a 2 x ... for example.

I take them on if they 3bet me - my position, their position. Same for folding to 3bets.

Limp folding and folding to cbet after limping.

Hand they were all in with preflop or postflop and hand showed down with.

Anything unusual about how they played it

Steals / resteals.

I write what is unusual and what tendencies a villain has. Here's some:

PF shoves pairs
PF calls shoves with XX
PF flats with AA
PF limps then 3bets PF with AA
Flop shoves TPNK
Big = Big (means he bets big with a big hand)
Big != Big (means he bets small with a big hand)

If I don't know what note to take but I want to, I'll mark the hand for review and note later.

F***ING FISHY C*** seems to be the most used, others include

stuff i see like;

-small bets on flop and turn with marginal hand/bluff
-bets big when bluffing
-what they play in certain positions if i find out
- most popular one now im getting 3bet lots is: 3bet blinds x1 x2 or however many they have done it to me just so i can see if theyre taking the piss out of me.

and just like bgomez said anything they do will help, lots of fish get labelled stuff like "will stack with tpnk", "happy to get 2 pair ai on 89TQx wet flop" "min donks with nothing"

Forgot to add: what i find good is writing your plan for that villain in the notes so when you play with them you know what you're aiming to do to exploit them, so it might just be, "passive fish, makes bad calls only raises with a set or better, value bet relentlessly will call down with 3rd pair"

I usually note out of the ordinary stuff. Never mess with noting that they got QQ+ AIPF, cbet A flop with A in hand, etc.. Note how they play their draws, sets on wet boards, overpairs. Donk betting is pretty big, note if they do it to protect, or do it with air. Keep it short and abbreviate a lot.

I usually just write down dumb stuff they do followed by profanities

I have a lot of notes that are something like "Raise with bs, got there on river", "F-ing calling station". I can tell which notes were written out of tilt.

I have a doubt about this:

small bets on flop and turn with marginal hand/bluff

Would you use this information for semi-bluffs or also pure bluffs IP?

Notes vary for me on alot of things. A general system I use though is something on how often then do certain things. Like say I'm playing Omaha 8. A guy pots UTG with A26J. So I am thinking this guy likes to play A2 fast. The note will be something like "pots any A2?". One time deal no real read yet so the "?" at the end.
So later after each time I see them do something similar I change the "?" to a "!". If I see a note that says "pots A2!!!!" I know I have seen him pot A2 at least 5 times. Probably seen it alot more then 5 times, but at least 5 times it really stood out that he took that action. I wouldn't give someone a "!" for potting AA23.

Its just a generalisation of what some of my notes look like, like some guys will bet 1/4ish bets on flop when they have nothing and follow the turn with a similar sized bet, this could be nothing or a semi-bluff or pure value, but it varies per player.

Dont wanna confuse you - i wasnt saying that 1/4 bets are bluffs or draws if that makes sense.
