Hello guys , just quick question , unfortunately I was playing regularly nl50 6 tables until last week , after a very very bad session ( my bad Tilted and I was playing drunk ) I almost destroy my bankroll so I decide to withdraw 70% of my bankroll e re-start at nl10/nl25 , but it looks like I can’t win anymore, is more then a week that I’m going down with my bankroll , every session is in negative , even if now I’m focus 100% on my game .

Should I take a few days brake ? Should I deposit and keep playing my level ? ( I already beat nl10 long time ago but it looks now I can’t anymore idk why )

Any suggestion ?

I believe common wisdom dictates that you move down a level in stakes until such time as you are consitently winning and your bankroll has been replenished.

I would take a short vacation and rest if I were you. The bad luck line always begins with alcohol.

This has happened to me as well & I got it in my head that the site was rigged against me for poor playing when I had lost prior sum (doubtful now).

I took a break for 2 days and then came back on a table using only about 30-40% of my bankroll. After a couple of games it felt like my luck was "reset", won some good hands and worked it back up.

if im not wrong I think u mean is downswing. becouse if we talk about variance when we in the table and the game start then we already in variance atmosfere. if u had bad session u can rest for a while or keep playing and enjoy the lesson to train your tilt issue, and build your patience more stronger that can beat your ego for your long journey. Take a break but more importantly study. Go over the sessions where you played bad and identify your mistakes. This will rebuild your confidence and make you an all around better player

I have been gambling for many many years, horses, sports, poker, and I have known casino games gamblers, one thing always holds true, when you are winning bet more, when you are losing bet less. You can tell when after a long good run your button is starting to cool, best time in the world to move down 2-3 levels and take your bad beat lumps for less cash amounts, later when you feel things changing, move back up, this can be down with just a little self knowledge/feel for the game.

Just at high stakes you play more careful, in consequence of which a lot of dropping, because the losses will be greater with no luck...
