What do table stats say about the players?

I cashed out $40 at pokerstars and swapping to 888 just for a change. The one thing I realise with the zoom stats is the players flop stats are higher in 888 and so is the pot size. Would that make it a fishier session? This is what the stats are right now compared to Pokerstars.

888;
137 players, 25c pot, 21% plrs/flop

Pokerstars;
666 players, 0.18c pot, 15% plrs/flop

So 888 is a bit more loose. but also there are less players, do you think 888 can be profitable? and what would tight/medium/loose table stats look like?

Seems like there's no question that 888 has more potential profit than stars for you. Larger pots and more action typically mean looser and usually easier players to get money out of from my perspective.

888 is way more profitable than stars. Way worse players. Last few months there have been a lot more regs than there used to be and at certain times you get a lot of TAGs but sometimes you can get 3 40/3's on a single table.

Higher numbers are always preferable for table stats but I pay much less attention to them in today's games than I used to. The reason why is that most players are tight and I am just looking for that one fish. The table averages can easily be brought down by all the tight players and you would never know the fish is there. It is better to just sit down and micro-manage your table selection in my opinion.

table stats say a lot about 'bad' people, but nothing about the good poker players. Those good ones often try to chance their style and when they do it can be a disaster to look at the stats.
