Since no one is replying to my progress topic I'll just create a new one.

Suffering the most horrible downswing I've ever had to date, starting to just literally pull my hair out, cash out my winnings and walk. 16 buy ins at 5nl? That has to be a record right? I've litterally been getting anally raped all week, and tonight was no exception. Suckout after suckout after suckout. Every single one imaginable several times over. I'm folding when I know I'm beat and those don't even count towards all in EV.

I've gone from $380 to $300 playing just 5nl and I know for a ****ing fact I can beat the level, but seriously starting to question my enjoyment. Tips?

16 buy in downswing at 5nl? Anyone?

You are still crushing and more people would probably reply if you posted hands and not just graphs. Not much to say about graphs.

Tbh I would post hands if I think they'd be any use but mostly it's either me getting coolered or folding to what is obviously a set. I'm going to move down to 2nl again and stop playing zoom.

When your are in a downswing play sit in goes for very small buy ins until you see you are starting to win again.
This way your still playing and gitting all of your anger out (and might even win somethig).

Taking a week off was good. I think playing 5kish hands at 2NL then jumping back to 5NL is good. I don't think taking a week off during a downswing then jumping right back into your current stake level is going to be good. You might make more mistakes because you're a little rusty, and you're going to go on tilt really fast again if you have another losing session.

What are your stats like? And are you overplaying AK preflop? Below 100NL, I almost never stacked off with AK pre. 4/5-bets below 100NL tend to be super narrow. I saw AA/KK way too often, and was bleeding money with AK pre.

When you go on a downswing, your style of play might change which could adversely affect your winrate. When I went on my 14BI downswing at 25NL, I was becoming a lot more passive postflop, sometimes preflop, and sometimes started going too aggro postflop. Lost a lot of confidence in my game. I kept running into runner runner/coolers, and I was bleeding more money due to tilt and my play style changing.

Just wondering why do you have so many BI for your level? I think 30-40BI is good, as I'm kinda nitty with my BR, but 60 is a lot for 5NL. You're going to improve more as you move up, and moving up allows you to earn more $$$.

Yeah I played 2nl after my week back and got my confidence back, now playing 5nl again with $260 The reason my roll is large is because A) I made 50 buy ins at 2nl with a super high win rate and wanted to make sure I played enough hands to even out any variance. Although I was absolutely crushing with 38bb/100 over 30k
B) I like to have a super large roll, it stops me tilting so much. Honestly coolers dont even bother me it's just when I'm 12 buy ins down I start to get really mad.

My play was definitely suffering, and actually the biggest mistake I made was going to zoom, where I lose all of my post flop edge due to lack of stats on villians. Zoom is literally in the hands of the gods and the swings are god awful, I'm staying the **** away from it and just playing my normal LAG abuse at the 6max cash games.

I'm actually a massive nit when it comes to stacking off and I only ever do it with KK/AA unless I'm v's an aggro in the blinds.

Thank you for your advice.

maybe Tilt?
Stop the game and relax if lost 3-4 buy in.
