Should I bet(half pot/full pot), check/call, or check/raise?

By the way, is KJo open raise at mid postion a OK play preflop?

Thanks.

Open is fine. I open broadways regularly in middle and late position. The bet sizes were ok too. I c-bet closer to 2/3 - 3/4 pot and would barrell that turn for the same bet sizing percent. Firing the smaller (but still reasonable) bets allows you to be more agressive, and win pots without a showdown & with less risk. I am not sure that my bet sizing is better over all, but it works for my style.

Don't like the turn bet because the BTN is a 1/2 stacker and he's tight. Just give up once he calls flop. For that reason I'd like to actually bet a little bigger on the flop (~.55) to give him every reason to fold his middle pairs.

I think the double barrel is fine, its a good scare card to get the middle pairs to fold. WVH - Instead of betting more on the flop to get middle pairs to fold, bet less get them to call then bluff him on the turn off of those hands, it makes an additional bet and they are tight predictable meaning they won't call two streets without the Q.

You have turned relatively high equity versus range, combined with folding equity its a clear bet, maybe check raise if you had a read that your opponent would bet middle pairs or floats when checked to. The river is a clear check fold because your multiple streets of aggression have narrowed their range to KQ+ and probably only KQ folds to a bet, so you aren't getting enough folds.

I have to agree with WVH the flop bet needs to be more aggressive
and if he calls and you miss on the turn then you fold it.
You bet .35 then .85 ($1.20) and he never raised you, he just called.

If you had bet .55 or .60 on the flop and he called then you fold the turn saving .60

Just my 2¢

This is almost a must barrel turn card. His range is heavily weighted toward pp and decent q's. The turn bet will fold out many pps , and most ppl will give u a hint on the turn if they r super strong w a set. Wepick up a lot of outs and have decent equity against q10 qj aq JJ etc. When he calls the turn we can narrow his range to really these hands and Hands very similar to them in sd value. The river card pairs the board and is an awful bluff card so unless villian is a super strong hand reader I wouldn't consider firing the 3rd barrel. The reason I may bluff it against a good player is bc he knows it's a awful bluff spot and therefore may find a fold and give u credit for being super strong when u triple barrel.
