You probly shouldn't ever bet 13x pot w/ or w/o the nuts (especially w/o tho). But congrats on finding the worst player in hold'em who used his whole stack to protect .30 when he is playing the board.

*Idk if you want an analysis. If so, leave out the result so it's non-biased.

Yeah I would say he was a little nervous of draws on the flop and when his trips hit well it should the possibilities of the flush out there and killed him betting at you. Same for you probably a little nervous of the flush. The river he was probably hoping for the board to pair. You were brave betting there as for him calling the only thing he could of beat was like a stone cold bluff or two pair. He might of thought you were bullying or maybe just been on tilt seeing several sets ruined to boards like that otherwise well call him atm and note that and hope to play with him again.

i really know this situation, but its is even worse when you only have one better card than the boards straigt :) i would not have put him on flush because then he would have done a value bet after the flop...

Not sure about 10nl, but at 4nl I have had this happen. Even worse than your one. Somebody open shoved their straight (playing the board), and somebody else called with the same hand (ie also playing the board). This made me lol and uber fist pump.

:stupid:

villian never trapped him so there is nothing to do. once hero goes all in, hero cannot bet or call anymore $, since that is all they have. there is no proverbial take the keys to the porsche out of your pocket and put them on the table, decision making for the hero is over at that point.

whenever i am watching a hand that plays out like this, not knowing what the cards are, and then a crazy huge bet on the river that is way out of whack with the previous betting (10 cents, 20 cents .. $7 ?!?!), my first thought ... that is the bet of someone hoping there is another someone stupid enough to call.

I would have expected you had ace high flush or str8 flush with that bet. normally you wouldn't be called on that bet by anything less than a flush. if you were convinced you had the best hand, why such a ridiculous bet, i mean if you wanted to be called. only person who would call that ,like someone said earlier, is the worst holdem player on the planet. how fortunate you happened to have that person on your table, even more so, they were in this hand with you.

You mean he didn't lump river while holding a straight on a flush board? Silly me.

vbetting?

OP you were trying to fold out a chop?

And why are you thinking he miss clicked when he snapped?

I don't understand this thread at all it seems, I'm going back to bed so I can get up again and take another look.

EDIT: haha, the nap did me some good, I had the hole cards the wrong way round ;)

why dont u have a full stack to start the hand? Gotta top that off.. if your gunna play this hand OOP you prolly should raise Pf try to at least isolate the limper.. but with the huge overbet on the river... I really dont think ur getting called here alot unless they have a flush or the top straight.. I mean there is absolutely NO value in calling you w/o da nuts.. make a small bet for value.. fold to any raise..
