How do i remove the Weak image other players have from me ?

Today at $5 SnG the first hand i played were weakly. Then, every time i raised this @#$# to my left kept calling me, and every time i ended up folding to him.

First i had JJ, i raise he calls, flop comes AQ# , he played first, pot bet. I fold.

Next i get KK, i raise preflop he calls. Flop, AAQ, again he played first big bet. I fold.

By this time i had no reads on him as he had not showed any cards and we had only played around 10 hands so far.

An there were like 3 other hands that to me every time i played he was trying to bully me, but i never got anything to play back with.

Even at the end I ended up going all in ( 300 chips ) with KJ, he called with K6 but he won....

So i guess it applied here, find the weak player and take his chips, and that's what he did... :(

This is NOT the way. Sometimes you just get weaker cards; nothing you can do about that.

I agree with Pigpen. There are times when you really just have to lay them down. There are even times when someone like that has me doubting my rockets! In the end, stay smart and be agressive when you have the goods...you'll end up beating that type of player.

you might have been good in the KK situation but again like you said not enough info on him to know...but he may have had you pinned right away if you were playing weak....possibly he played like he had an A since he knew you were weak and didnt hit anything or the A...ther are so many possibilities

Iv'e had games, that my cards just wern't good enough, and them time's, seems to stand out in my mind more while playing Online...Heck and when it happins,I cant catch up, trying to steal a blind or two is even out of the question, cause it apears that I am the WEEK PLAYER,its just to easy to call me by that point, my all-in's not even amount 8 to 20% of players stack Lots of time,THATS WHEN I NOTICE IT. I've notice eary on my"gap connectors"would of been paying off, if I only called a small raise but,my pairs just weren't going to be good enough ..i waiting to see what kind of feed back you get on this

Yeah, a couple of hands before my all-in , he finally went to a showdown and it was such a crappy hand, and it played the same way, he tried to push someone out of the turn going all in and got called, he lost that hand. I assumed he was playing the same way with me, it was then too late to play back at him.

Rule 1, don't declare war on the person to your left. You are always OOP against them.

It does sound like he is an extremely loose player though, so use that to your advantage. Let him do your betting for you, since you know he will. The "average" lag player has a hard time actually laying down hands because they get caught up in the pushing. Let him do that and take him down when you have a strong hand. Also, be more inclined to call with hands of medium strength, as lag players are more often on a pure bluff or weaker hands and they are trying to buy the pot.

I've always found that being patient and waiting for the nuts will always get you paid off if the person next to you is appearing to bully you. True, with your KK, it might have been a tough laydown, but in the future, you may be the one with the A-x that ends up hitting that flop.

The LAG to your left will pay you off handsomely.
