The hand like the one below bothers me. I get stuck wondering if they are making a c-bet with a decent pocket, playing it safe with Ax, or making a small bet trying to get me to raise and "see where I'm at". Most of the time I let them go. I feel like I get into trouble more often than not reraising on the flop. ABC seems to work OK in rush. I'm up for the week while clearing that bonus but trying to figure out what I can be doing better.

You could try to be the aggressor. Instead of playing passive and calling with your suited connectors, how about a 3-bet? Sure makes your hand seem a lot stronger than it is.
Then if you miss, you have a decent chance of winning the pot post-flop, If you play it right and have a good read on your opponent.

Suited connectors play for more value in a multi-way pot. Save representing a monster with a 3-bet pre-flop, there's no real incentive to flat them.

Yes, 3bet pre-flop. There's pretty much no opponent I'd rather call than 3bet/fold here.

Assuming we somehow get to the flop, it's an easy fold. We have no added equity from draws, even no reasonable backdoor draws. You have to keep your floating frequency fairly low anyway so just pick times when you've got some equity, or at least that you've got a draw to some outs which you can semi-bluff with if villain doesn't give up.
As is, yeah it'll be air sometimes. The pre-flop aggressor cbet an A high flop. It's 5nl so maybe he doesn't think it's a cbet, just a bet, so I'm leaning towards a little more value in his range than normal but he'll also likely cbet a whole bunch of stuff that should pot-control too so it's not A's so much as value. Still, if you're going to float every time he probably doesn't have it (which provided a high cbet %, is most of the time) then you're just going to get value towned a whole lot. Wait until you've got some more equity.

Suited connectors play for more value in a multi-way pot.
I strongly disagree with this.

Eh, just noticed he does have a backdoor flushdraw.

Still a fold though unless he's shown a tendency to cbet once and give up, since the backdoor draws are (imo) mostly only any good if we intend to raise bets often when we pick up outs on the turn, and I don't like doing that against unknowns.

Hmmm... I should probably ramble on less and just say standard fold.
