I sometimes play several cheap games in the morning to warm up for many more games each day. Play money or cheapest money. If nothing else to make sure I am awake.

I don't have a good read yet as to what effect this has on my overall performance.

Do you? If so, what might it be?

I don't see any purpose for warming up. My game/strategy is what it is. Playing cheap/play games as warm up would likely hurt me more than help as it could affect how I play my normal strategy.

Yeah I agree I don't think warming up is really helping you.

There are those days tho, when I wake up wondering just what a deck of cards is...... does a str8 beat a flush?

Incidently, all kidding aside, I have not warmed up this morning for the OFC game in a couple of hours. I may seek out a pro game on FT and watch, but want to be virgin at the start of todays game. I left last night on a winning note, and well, ??????????
