At this point, I'm not paying much attention to the table. I'm already updating my spreadsheet, and closing down software. I should already have a read on the players at the table, and since my last few hands will be out of position, I'm only playing strength. I don't really consider these last few hands time at the tables. All the hard work has already been done.
But, I've been dealt AA or KK numerous times on that "last hand", and not seeing hands you paid for is -EV, so unless I have to leave, I'm always staying until the BB.
Another point to keep in mind, at least on Poker Stars
, is that you aren't guaranteed your awarded FPP for a hand until the next hand is dealt. So, I always sit out, then leave the table after the next hand is on the table. But, I'm cheap.
