Just been thinking lately and wondering why variance seems to come in waves. Like you will have a week downswing or something and when it comes it seems to stay for a while never just for a few hands. Just seems that when I bad run happens it runs the full 100metres before it goes away?
Any ideas?

And Im not talking about tilt, I mean card dead/variance

Probably you just don't notice the short term swings in variance, like most sessions I get sucked out on, even the good ones, but you just dont think about it co it was a good session.

I think it is definately more noticable when the cards are ice cold. Over Winter break, I had a 15k hand nightmare. Somehow when I have a huge heater it just seems like the way it is supposed to be. After all, I am me - the best poekr player in my chair.
