So update on me if anyone recalls my posts, I went back and forth about what sort of poker I want to focus on, dabbling around with HU, DoNs, SnGs, cash, MTT. Anything and everything on pokerstars, and just really was breaking even over two months.

I decided to try out Titan Poker with a whopping deposit of 42USD

Started playing Micro cash 6max 2NL this week and went on quite a run, High point of +34.00USD which also got me a 18.00USD bonus.

So I have doubled my money inside of a week, happy happy. Then I opened my mouth to my sweet wife in humble yet bragging forum and the bottom has fallen out.:musicus:

Ill post again at 12k.

Ummm...Ok....If you say so.....I don't really see any "bottom falling out" there. I see a nice early winning streak followed by a reasonable length breaking-even streak. If this is as bad as it ever gets in your poker carrer (it won't be), consider yourself very, very lucky.

Things have evened out, which is what I meant by bottom falling out, I guess it is the wrong phrase but the rocket ship floor has indeed fell out.

High spirits though, Going to adjust abit and see how things go.

I just sent you some good vibes lawrelye! ;)

Im leveled out at +16.00ish and now its up a dollar, down a dollar poker.

Hit a royal flush today on the turn (AJsuited) with position against a vpip 75ish with 150hands booked on the guy firing endless barrels. Litterally was on skype while hand was taking place talking to a buddy about how AJs is my most money lost hand. Looked over at one of my tables and bam there was the devil itself. ha.

Stacked the guy for a 3 dollar pot. Lovely thing irony.

Hope things are going good for you! vibes vibes vibes.

tytyty!

Just saw this after having the first proper good run in a month!

Moved down to 2NL last week after losing 10 BIs. Still wasn't doing well - just breaking even - but today stacked 3 fishes with flushes and a full house. :D

Funny you say that about AJ because it's also the hand I lose most with by a long way. That and KJ. I'm always nervous when I see those cards! Congrats on your royal flush. That must have felt SO good.

Sending good vibes to you too. Here's hoping for LOTS of rungood for us both!

Glad to hear about your run!

Well done with your discipline to move down in stakes. Will you pop back up after regaining those 10 BIs or just going to see how it goes?

AJ is a achillies heel for me cause I always get flat called preflop and hit something. Get caught up in that hand.

The royal felt good for obvious reasons, got paid, but even more because of the villain it was against! :)

Yes, the same thing happens to me. Yesterday I had AK and just couldn't let go when the flop came down QAK. Of course the turn brought 10 and villain held JJ!. I was hoping that he had AQ or KQ but sadly not.

I will keep playing 2NL until I get my roll back up to $80 then go back up to 4NL. Hopefully it won't be too long...

I think I know what went wrong. I was trying to incorporate lots of new things when the fundamentals were not solid enough. Now I'm introducing one concept at a time and practicising before I move on.

Wishing you a winning week!

Good plans.

Recently been talking with Acky, running down some of my stats and was told that I need to fold more and be less passive. Which confused the hell outta me at first. It takes me a bit of time to have the brain absorb a concept. Implementing is obviously its own hurdle .

So process breakdown:
I will Fold more.
When I do decide to play, I will not be passive.

There is the goal for the week. ;)

Sounds good. Look forward to hearing how you get on.
My goal is to play fewer hands but when I do to incorporate c-betting and to be more aggressive. Start 3betting in position with my premium hands and betting/raising on every street if I have the best hand - or feel I can push villain off his hand. ;)
