I would have raised pre to .50 and then check/raised all in on flop. If opponent calls, its a cooler.

With the way you played, i would have called on river too unless I have prior information about my opponent in which case it might be a fold.

Playing online, i am not mistaken but noticed that the river cards goes along with the bigger stack more like 40-60(against our odds) instead of actual 90-10%(infavor of us). It depends on lots of other factors and open to debate but its just my opinion.

It looks okay especially pre, flop and turn. You have just a bluff catcher on the river (no way villain is value betting two pair on this river) so you have to decide how often villain is going to be bluffing in this spot (by observing how he has played in previous hands) in order to determine if you should call or not.

Dont donk bet the flop... let him cbet because if he whiffed hes folding.

But when we check he may bluff at it even if hw has a weaker holding.

Plus raising him after he bets is a good way to trap AK.

By turn id like to have stacks in on a dangerous board and charge em... if we play correct then the outcome doesnt mattsr at all

I agree with Aces2
With 4 players in the hand and being first to act I prefer to check and see what developes and then hopefully stick in a check raise.
If it was heads up I don't mind the lead out as you are going to get action from any Ace. You could argue that this will happen anyway but leading into 4 players is a very strong move on that board with no flush draws and only gutshots at best. If you lead out here you are repping at worst a very good ace and if you had that why not raise preflop, so 2 pair or a set is favourite for your hand which you are turning pretty much face up here to me.
As played its just a bad runout on the end, I would have bet bigger on the turn as played, a good ace will call 75% pot if its calling 50%.

I like the way you played that hand. It wasn't to exspensive and even if you bet more to scare the player away Im sure they wouldnt have folded AK with a pair on the flop.. All in all it was a good play in my opinion.

Played it fine. I like donking into multi way pots with A on flop. Occasionally I like to donk 1/3 pot though and hope for a big Ace or two pair to rr me.
You can also just check raise the flop and hope to have your opponent spew.

I think river call is okay, what do you do if he bets $2 there?

Flop isn't particularly scary. Agreeing with the guys, putting in a check raise here would appear to be the best line on the flop. As discussed bad runout in the end. Looking to get it in on the turn and the rest is out of your hand(s)

You need to increase your bet sizing on flop/turn, but ask played, if your opponent is aggressive, then c/c river. If they aren't, then bet fold. Simple game. :)

I like check raising the flop. A lot of aces aren't folding and you can get value on any turn as well. Unfortunately the river was bad and its a tough hand you have. You can still beat some hands. I think there are some instances where two pairs bet here because you will almost always continue if you have a straight. You can have A5 or A10 and play it the same way. So I think he can have AJ, AQ, possibly QQ and JJ.

Depending on your style of play I don't mind your play too much, only problem I have is it seems a bit predictable. Playing predictable won't get you into too much trouble at 5NL tables so that's not a big deal at all. I personally like the smooth call pre-flop as long as you're ready to fold when you don't hit a ten. I don't like leading out and betting. Someone definitely hit that ace and probably has a decent kicker so let them lead into you and then you check raise them. If he still calls the flop check raise then I'm pushing all in when the turn card comes. If he calls that with AK and then hits the J for a straight, oh well it's poker and he got lucky. You saved yourself from having to make a tough river call or getting bluffed off a good hand.
