what should I do?

Continuation bet to see where you are. If you get raised you know your behind, if your called your either behind or their on a draw and another diamond should indicate a fold from you.

it is a tournament hand right?

Just ship and let other people guess, you may get slightly worse hands to call (TdTx, JdJx) and better hand like AJo, ATs to fold sometimes

Check back flop, if turn blanks maybe fire 1/4 pot bet for thin value, villian will still call on turn with a decent diamond and low pair. Depending on the river you probably want to check down.

I would probably have shoved preflop. Your stack is not really big enough to three bet big, get called, and still play post flop OOP. If I had position, sure I'd just threebet that minraiser.

As played I will just check and fold.

Yes that's weak, but I would still have 20ish blinds remaining. How much are you really gonna cbet? Let's say you bet, and you get called. Then what?

You are gonna have to bet at least half pot to rep a big ace. That leaves you with 10 BBs and you may get called then you will have to check the turn cuz if he calls you on the flop he's gonna call you on the turn if you go all in.

To make things easier for myself, like I said I woulda shoved pre.

After the flop I would do a continuation stink and analyze the change and the response. If a diamond comes with the Ace and the color project served I would resign against a bet.

Regards. :ciao:

You're kind of in a position of either jamming all in or Fold. You can bet but you're just committing yourself to calling all in. Your stack is short and the preflop bet didn't help. Checking is just dumb

shove flop, you block the best aces, ace king, and may get a worse ace to fold

You're either jamming or check folding here. Your kings probably won't hold, but you might get weaker holdings to fold on the flop and it you're lucky, you might fade the flush draws.

KK to start and the flop is a dud,
Rather check and fold to a bet.
That way you remain in the game and continue playing.

At times you get cards that will destroy you any which way you play.
Lets assume you have KK and you go all in and get called by another player with AQ and the flop comes as mentioned by you.
You cant hide anywhere, in which case any other style of play would give you same result.

Poker at its best....

First of all, you don't have any room to make a c-bet that leaves you with chips. It's basically a shove or check on the flop.

You should be more worried about Ax hands then flushes! Personally, would check it and then fold to bets.
Reason behind it is that it is very hard to bluff on this board so whoever bets, should at least have a pocket pair with one diamond (semi bluff), against which you are only 55% favorite to win. Other then that, AX with a diamond can bet this board, but no bluffs.

Basically, checking it makes it likely to get to the river if all the villains missed. If you decide to shove on the flop, you will only get called by hands that are crushing you or flipping against you.

Other then that, bet size pre-flop is good, you shouldn't shove with KK and 30BBs stack as IMO you lose a lot of value (you will get way more folds then calls if you shove).

On the flop bet continue and watch the reaction of the apponents. Calculate the strong ACE will not be difficult and aces with small kickers will be happy to play check check turn and river.

Rep the ace. You're the player that 3bet preflop. Continue with the story that you have a strong hand.

just check/fold. You have too shallow stack to even try to represent an ace what's also pretty bad idea because you play vs recreational players + mono board. You have 20bbs left, pot is 34.5 bbs. Just save your chips.

Was wondering why you didn't just move in Preflop?

I think that you dont have stack to c-bet so you have check or shove. Best option is check-fold. You only can do anything different of yhat if you have a read about them.

Check fold here for me think if your behind already your having to face bets on rest of the streets. Wouldn't have personally jammed pre as think you want action from worse hands just a bad run out
