Maybe it's because of the weekend or maybe the site is full of weak players, or perhaps i was just lucky...

I found that 50NL played EXACTLY like 10NL. I played really tight, picked my spots, didn't do anything stupid, respected big bets on the river, and did just fine. I found that just as many players will donk the stack to you...

We'll see what happens tonight.

Most of the big sites now like party and stars are chock full of bad aggressive splashy players.Probably due to the fact that all the training sites these days teach a LAG style of play and most players just aren't good enough to play that style.

Weed is good only for medicine treatment.Do you have a serious disease? If no ,so maybe weed is blocking your brain to reach good prizes pool.

What site was this on? I play on ACR and wsop. On WSOP, the 50NL is much different than the 10NL. In my limited experience there is way too many all ins.

I am also a little salty about playing 50NL a few months ago and having a K High Flush all in get beat with an A High Flush all in. Then later the same person beat my A High Flush with a Boat.

That’s just a bad beat. I’t doesn’t matter what blinds you are playing with those kind of bad beats. It’ll happen at 2NL or 1000NL.

It should really be your bankroll that dictates what stakes you should be playing. And your comfort level of course!

Definitely get a large sample size in to make sure you know that you didn't just get lucky.

I would take a larger sample before coming to the conclusion that 50NL is as soft as 10NL. It just shouldn't be the case. You might have ran good or ran into some very soft players.

I find the level you come across in the weekends is a bit lower then during weekdays which is rather logical since everybody has more time then. On weekdays there are mostly more experienced player.

Could just be lucky table selection, 50nl generally is tougher than 10nl.

Though you might have experienced more LAGS, giving the impression that the game is easier. 10nl is a nit fest.

Why did you skip 25nl?

Lower levels aren't worth the time spent.
I have been beating 50NL now every session, haven't had a losing session yet.
Thinking about jumping up to 100NL tonight.

Hhaha. Man it is because of money-pressure. I was thinking before that the higher stake is = strongest players. It's not true. More gamble, that's for sure! Alot of good players, but gamble factor cames bigger and bigger with higher stakes.

I find that Thurs-Sun has plenty of weak players at all stake levels. I try not to get involved with other big stacks (I play a lot of zoom/zone poker) and just wait for good spots to get my stack in while I'm ahead against people who are desperate for a double.

Math is math. People are people

This thread is why I love poker. There's the card game poker and the people game poker. The melding and meshing of the two is what makes poker great.
The size of some ones stack tells you nothing about the player. Likewise the 9 guys at your table tonight say nothing about the nine you sit with tomorrow.
Poker is awesome!

Sincerely, there are many players in the weekend, that means there are many idiots, which would mean money, but it's not. It's hard to beat the weekend, so I prefer to play during the week especially late in the morning or late at night after 22 o'clock.

Sounds good buddy.

As long as you follow good BRM and have the mental game for the bigger swings then go for it.

Let us know how you get on.

I know what you mean, but you just need to adapt your game, TAG isnt that optimal at weekends. Try playing more speculative hands in late position (limping) and just go from there.

Dont try and play TAG oop at the weekends, its a totally different dynamic and you need to adapt.

But the money is there to be made, you just got to work out how to get it.

From my experience. 10nl abc poker all the way up to nl50. Ayers get better at nl100. Still fish. Nl 200 is the hardest hurdle. After that your solid. A lot more pressure at that level.

I was wondering the same thing. On Ignition, the skill at 10NL vastly differs from 50NL. I spent months trying to win at 25NL after getting to where I could crush 10NL most of the time. I think OP may have just experienced a good variance run. In general, the skill increases from stake to stake, and I doubt anything different has occurred here.
