I have gotten okay at hold em and PLO. Thought I would try my hand with 7 card stud. What kind of things do I need to know and are the games soft? I really haven't a clue so any help would be appreciated!

Games are stupid soft up until about $2/$4 (or at least they were before BF). After that, there's still plenty of fish, but the number of regs increases.

The key thing is to be right on 3rd & 5th street. Learn to fold early and call late. And when in doubt, value bet.

If you want something more specific, shoot me a message on AIM or something. I won't coach you, but I'll get you going in the right direction & I like discussing stud hands.

In PS u can play 2-7 Stud, and in 888 u have Stud. Enough trafic, and soft in micro stakes.

The games are really soft at microstake levels, but the main problem with stud is how often good games really come together. There's just not a lot of stud action out there compared to Hold'em and Omaha. You're best off looking for a mixed game that has Stud variants involved. Those games seem to fill up more, and you can find yourself up against some really weak players at Stud and Razz. Good luck.
