Since I started playing poker, I have tried to evolve, and adapt to the best possible tournament, and I found this by playing the 18g - 1.50 which is the tournament I have been playing, and I have had better results, however, I have a problem , although I was able to apply the learning and being profitable, I did not want to play Turbo STILL tournaments at night, and the only tournaments that fill up are the turbos, as I said, I've had good results, but I feel ready to increase the amount of screens, I have played 3 consecutive games, and I want to go to 4, but to further solidify the knowledge and have more "time at the table" to find the best spots, read opponents and etc, I wish it were not for turbo tournaments , wanted to increase screen in the regular tournaments, which are the most suitable for those who are starting. So, what trade could I make? What do you recompense? Does anyone have this problem too, from just finding turbo tournaments to multitabling up to 1.50? Do you think 27 or 45 players are more interesting? Should I include regular mtts to compensate? If I got this right, you are currently playing only turbo tournaments, sometimes several turbos at the time? And want to swap to games where you can spend more time at the tables, figuring out players better?
If that is the case, I can suggest playing deepstack tournaments at regular speed. Those unfortunately have a wide pool of players and it is rather hard to get to substantial amounts of money considering there just too many players playing. On the other hand, it will give you plenty of table time, and plenty of time to practice reading abilities. If you don't want to mess with such huge amounts of people, then just play S&Gs that are slower then turbo speed, and play several at the time.
On average, playing S&Gs with 45 players at regular speed, it takes you round 90 minutes to get to the money in my experience. However, if you do decide to play several tables at the time, it might effect your reading abilities, or rather learning about opponents and how to exploit them. For that - learning, it is better to play one S&G or MTT at the time at a regular or even slow speed
