Hi guys, is it a norm for one to always run into situations whereby people fold continuously to your raises? I can't stand not winning big from pocket AA KK QQ,.. I tend to start fuming whenever I get everyone folding CONTINUOUSLY from my AA, KK from different tables.

I can't even find any logical reason to them doing so (ESPECIALLY when they fold to merely 2x bb amount, and most of my games are 9players table NL micro games.
I can't even comprehend how their playstyle is anymore. But are such scenarios even explainable? Or do i simply attribute it to purely my luck where for instance the times i had these premium hands, the rest of them just had purely nothing or bad hands? (most times i even had these hands on sb/bb/dealer positions which made me feel like i had even more potential to squeeze and win more)

It happens. I had sessions where I am card dead for a long time and then I get AA in the BB and everybody folds to me. Twice in a row :D

If winning a small pot or just the blinds with AA/KK annoys you, I can only imagine how losing a big pot or getting stacked would make you feel heh... 'specially if the chips were all in pre.

You probably should be raising more hands. It will both make you more money, you'll have more action so you won't care so much for the folds and people will call you lighter.

@DunningKruger Well I may certainly feel worse undeniably, but at least I wouldve had the chance to beat cards w lower equity than mine if all-in showdowns occur so on the contrary i wouldve felt more comfortable than if there werent anything/action.

@ld1977 yeah.. that feeling is just... i guess we just have to get over it.. no matter how much we have been winning/especially losing prior to that

@djo ok.. will see if that playstyle fits me..

and thanks for all comments, much appreciated as usual..

It happens to all of us. Sometimes you get action and sometimes you do not.

You have to trick your table when you get those hands man. You have to play the same way you played other hands like TJ suited. If you do that and someone raises you, then you caught yourself a fish that you can exploit! If ppl just call, your still probably winning, and you will have to probably bet the flop and see what happens. But you could also make your AA look like a steal preflop, that is if you are a guy who usually steals on the table and ppl have noticed that after playing with you for a while.
