I haven't played much limit at all normally play nl was curious if limit holdem can be profitable at higher games and do you think you can have a slim bank roll since the swings aren't as bads

I think that there is a lot more chasing in limit,,,so more suck out, but if they don't hit and your hands make more. And you can't loser your whole bankroll in one hand...I play micro stakes, Not sure if any of that info helps,,,good luck

eh, its a SERIOUS grind, i mean, A GRIND! Again, GRIND!!! OMG its so boring, and plays chase every thing in sight, so yea it can be profitable, however, you have to be the best ABC player out there to even make any +EV

I did this for a while bc i had a tiny BR, and i told myself, " I could be getting more value for my hands in NL " bc in NL the donks are still going to call with crap, and you are normaly ahead and can get it in good and make more.

Limit, bet, call, bet, call, raise! omg your behind!

Everything in limit is 80% strait foward. Bluiffing is almost never profitable, and stealing, lol what stealing!

I am against limit bc it is a sick grind, not going to bash the old school players who put in the time, bc there is money to be made, but oh your in for a looooong haul. Even the swings in limit can make you want to go to back to NL

If you do this, best get an Ipod and lots of music or a book lol

I found LHE to be instructive, but I like NLHE more. LHE helped with the basics, especially to pay attention to outs and odds, as well as to learn the importance of hand reading and aggression. When I returned to primarily playing NLHE my game had improved substantially. Like others have said, LHE can be a bit of a grind. I mostly like it when I want to play poker without the big decisions in no limit, or pot limit, or when I have been running bad and need to switch things up a little.

I f you can stand the grind suggest trying it for a while. I would also suggest reading Small Stakes Hold'em: Winning Big with Expert Play before venturing into online LHE.
(I recommend these guys' books a lot)
