Thin value betting the river isn't really something that's totally incorporated into my game. I'm always worried that it gives people the opportunity to bluff me off an otherwise winning hand. But now I'm starting to realize that the best situation I can have is someone trying to bluff me when I have a very strong holding. So by betting my marginal holdings on the river when I feel I'm likely to have the best hand it might make me look more callable/bluffable down the road.

Any tips/suggestions?

absolutely. if you find they are bluffing adjust by sneaking more monsters down your thin value range and play slots on them and also making more hero calls. If they grossly overbet the pot consistently then they can't run away from the math, sooner or later you'll sock em real good.

If you're playing micros, people are probably bluffing way less then you think they are.

Also, you shouldn't be betting the river when you think you have the best hand. You should be betting the river when villain has hands in his range that can call the bet you make and which your hand beats.
