you also don't want to be short stack bluffing at a larger stack. Because you might get a call to just to try and knock you out.

Does this strategy work as well online as it does in person? I think we all agree that people call crazy stuff when playing on a computer vs. staring the guy down across the table...I mean the tips are valid but online, bluffing itself can get you in trouble.

I always seem to be good at bluffing the short stack online. I don't bet them their whole stack, just a nice percentage. I won't do it unless losing won't hurt me very much.

i agree with trench, attempt to get a decent percentage.. something around 60 is usually good, try and get them into a good pot but leave them with enough to make them think they can get back into it. :icon_tong

At a table with 10 people, bluffing almost never works, so why bother. A semi-bluff I understand but a stone cold bluff unless you have way more chips than everyone else is just pointless because someone will call and beat you!

The tighter you play, the easier it is to bluff. Don't bluff every time. When you make big raises and someone call you, let them see what you beat them with if you know you won... that makes them think you might have something again when you have a 2/7
