Taking Notes Online

I like to take notes online about the habits of the other players. I am never sure if I am taking proper notes. My goal for taking notes is to improve my play, learn to watch for reads on other players and to help learn the patterns of the other players. Since I started taking notes I have found I play a lot of the same players day to day. Knowing who the regulars are and seeing their habits also helps in some decision making. Any advice would be greatly apppreciated.
