I tried searching for this subject and couldn't find anything.

I was wondering when you guys are looking to sit at a table to play in a ring game is there any strategy to which table you sit at? There are many things listed for the ring games. Lets say I am looking at sitting at a .25/.50 ring game. There is:
1) Average pot size that usually ranges from $3.0 to about $5.50.
2) There is players per flop that usually ranges from 44%-78%.
3) There is hand per hour which range from 33-75 hands.

I play tight aggresive. Do you guys look for anything special in these 3 categories before sitting down or do you just pick one?

How tight?

The tighter you are the higher average hand table you should sit at. as for the pot size higher is good but lower is better?? what do you preffer a big pot where lots are in or a small pot where fewer are in? players in flop you wanna go with the hishest perccentile because you play tight..

Me I like to play the 6 people max tables with 5 people sitting average pot mid/high thats all I look for then sit and hope for the best.

Good Luck.

Since you play the same style as me, i will reccomend what I do. You need to look for the losse players, you need a table that suits the following, a lot of players see the hand, medium pots ( to keep the devatiation rate steady ) , most hands per hours, and sit in games where usually no one raises pre flop ( passive game ) this are the game where your style will kill, no go out there and beat those losse passive babys :)

Games with bigger pots usually mean bigger suck outs since people seem to chase more because of the higher money ^_^

When I look for a table to sit at I try to find tables that are pretty fast play so high number of hands per hour. Also i like when the AVG pot is high so i try to find high AVG pots... i always do better with higher pots for some reason lol. I never really look at player per flop but i guess i would prefer it to be around 50% to 60%

Days that I can feel I'm playing tighter than usual, I like to find the table with the highest % of players seeing the flop since this probably means its a loose table. On a normal day when I'm my usual tightness, 50-60% seeing the flop works best for me.

Personally, I like to see lots of people in the flop as well as a large pot per flop bettor. That means if you play tight, you'll see action, and not just in the form of limp calling. High hand count is good too to prevent boredom!
