Im thinking to switch from zoom to reg tables , i play 10nl , im aware that table selection is one of the most important things for reg table cash , im gonna play low volume around 4 tables and focus on table selection and exploit villains , i need a pattern for table selection , i know how to search the lobby for fishes but i dont like waiting lists , i dont have problem to wait but waiting lists just doesnt seem fine to me because well you may wait forever and also the fish might bust before you join , it just doesnt seem right.

So how are you guys doing it? are you joining waiting lists with 3+ players? do you use easy seat and set the required stat you want to join? do you start new tables? do you play tables with 2 or less players? whats your pattern?

Generally how should i mix a decent amount of volume like 1k hands per day and severe table selection?

Just join 3 handed tables or start new tables they will soon fill up.

Don't think you need to really to table select at 10l to crush. Could be wrong, don't really play cash but I'd imagine most micro stake games are quite beatable even with regs in them because most regs who are stuck playing that limit months/years on end for the most part are there for a reason.

When I used to play cash, I don't recall ever table selecting for any micro limit games, I think table selection from 50lnl and upwards becomes more important.

In nl10 no need table selection , always at the table will be 3-4 fish, where you will have an advantage over them.. Is also not necessary to balance the game because very more players, very rarely will you play with some players.. ABC game still profitable...

Its still okay if there are at most 2 sharks in a full 9man table or 1 shark in a full 6man table.

You can turn on Easy seat in the beta options on pokerstars and select various aspects of what you're looking for in a table including average pot, vpip, min players per flop hands per hour etc...

you should be comfortable at 95% of the micro limit tables, it will take work to be a consistent winning player but it will have nothing to do with looking for fish tables because as another person said, 40% of the people playing at that limit are just fish. join any tables you should be able to crush if you are a proper player

This good mark fish and then find the tables where they are to go out to hunt them and so to get the most benefit for us.

2 words: Easy Seat

Honestly it's sooooo much easier than scanning the lobby and adding yourself to waiting lists manually. Once you have most of the regs at your limit tagged its just a case of repeatedly closing tables until a good one pops up - ie. no regs in the 2 seats to your right, or one with lost of unknown players and only one or two regs

AH , interesting , you dont set any requirements on easy seat? you just open it any table and hope to find a fish then leave if you dont find anything?

Yeah. With the unknowns especially look for the chromestar, non full buy in types :)

As I have a lot of the regs tagged I can often know immediately if the table is bad and close it before even playing a hand

What's with pokerstars making a big hype about stopping seating scripts?

I find it funny; Facade of consideration to the fishes getting exploited, disregarding the fact that at those stakes they are already being crippled with rake by none other than yours truly.

Personally I do table select even at 10nl. I would say its less important at full ring as there are more fish than at the 6 max.
When I open the lobby at full ring im looking at the tables with 6-8
players and looking for a seat to the left of anyone sitting with less than 100bb. I like rocks to my left and fish/lags to my right. it does really help, in June last year I had a month of strict bum hunting and table selection as an experiment and beat 10nl for 50 buyins in a calendar month. Since then I've relaxed my table selection and not won as much so I should go back to it.
You win money from fish not good regs.

Many beginners PokerStars own only basic strategy, so it is best to play at the tables, for which most of the players are sitting with long stacks. With a short stack, usually playing weak poker players who are afraid to play with a significant amount of money. In addition, before entering the game, it is desirable to observe the game future opponents.

i tagg the regs on the level and if i go trough the lobby i can see how many of them are sitting on the tables and try to find a table with persons i tagged as loose or fish, if there are no tagged fishes on the screen i chose a table without any tagged players, to find some new ones ;)
