As some of you might know so far i played full ring cash at PKR, now im planing to switch to stars/ftp and every now or then i play a little 2nl on ftp just to keep things going and dont lose touch with the cash game till the fund transfer to stars completes.

Now while i was playing on pkr there is not much to do while you chose the table to play, you either have a empty spot or you join the wait list at only active table.
At ftp there is at least 10 active FR 2nl tables sometimes i just sit on table not looking the stats and see the table is to tight or whatever, i picked bad spot at the table etc...

what you guys look for when you are looking for table to play, what stat is most important and in what range the stats should be in order to make that table a good to play at...

thanks in advance!!!

Players/flop is the most important table stat as it indicates lots of high VPIP players. Once I'm on a table I don't keep looking back and checking the player/flop stat for the table but instead focus on whether it's likely to be a profitable table. My HUD lets me know the ratio of regs, unknowns and fish at the table. If there are 2 or 3 fish I'll stay, if there is only one fish I might leave unless I have position on him or he's a complete donk.

Also depends on the type of fish, some are loose-passive but won't stack off unless they have a big hand. Those guys are a lot less profitable than either the loose-passive fish who will stack off/call down with relatively weak hands or the whales/maniacs who will stack off with relatively weak hands and make ridiculous bluffs.

Edit: On Stars the 'Easy seat' feature really helps with table selection as you don't have to keep going back to the lobby, shut a bad table and another automatically opens with the criteria (like players/flop %) that you have set
