Just have a few questions about NL cash tables for you guys which I have been wondering about table selection.
When I go into the lobby at stars I have a table filter right which has these options checked 9/10 seats, 25NL in stakes, both table speeds and hide full tables. I then sort tables firstly by avg. pot descending and players/flop descending. I then click on 8 tables near the top of my list which have 1 seat available and check how many shorty's are on the table and where they are sat and bang I sit or leave.

Thats my table selection done.

So a few questions.

How can I improve my table selection?
What am I looking for to determine a "good/juicy" table?
Whats your table selection process?

I really think that the guys up at 100/200NL+ can help me out here and boost my winrate even more. I know there are a load of fish at 25NL so does this really apply to this level?

Don't do that. Usually all the juicy tables are full because the other regs table select too. Get on the waiting lists and decide whether you want to sit at the table or not when you are finally offered a seat. Restricting yourself to tables where you can sit immediately is super sub-optimal.

Also, a major part of table selection is leaving a table when it dries up. At 25nl, there should always be at least on major fish that is the reason for you to be sitting at each table. Otherwise, just leave.

BTW, at 200nl, i've been at a few tables where there's one very obvious fish and 8 regs, and as soon as the fish loses his stack and fails to reload, the table dislocates the very next hand.

Also, it's not applicable at 25nl, but lately I kind of table select by following the one fulltilt pro who grinds 200nl FR, which is very easy since his tables are red colored in the FT lobby. I think he kind of sucks at poker, but he's kind of good at table selection, so it's a win in both senses to follow him... :D

Don't hide the full tables. You will nearly always have to wait a little while to get a seat on the most fish tables.

Also, write down the names of the biggest fish you find, and search for them every time you log on!

yeap. thats basicly how i table select when i start a seesion:D.
And since 10NL/25NL has so many bad players you shouldnt have a problem starting a big list.
Just go over your HEM stats and find the worst regs and then go take there money ;).

I think this is the most important thing. I'll start a juicy table, and then 45 minutes into my session, the table has 1 short stacking fish on my left, and 4 very solid regs. Not leaving at that juncture is ridiculous unless you just feel like reg battling & enjoying variance.
