There's two televised
wsop with Stu that are available, the 1997 and 1981 (you can find them on eBay). They're before the invention of the hole card camera so you only know his cards when he shows.
The '97 is hosted by Gabe Kaplan, it's the series that was held out side on the strip. Can you imagine how hot it must have been?
The '81 is hosted by Curt Gowdy, it's not even close to what you're use to seeing on televised poker today, but it's still fun to watch.
The old WSOP are fun even though they are pretty lame, without the cameras, by todays standards. It' cool to see Doyle, Slim, and Bobbiy Baldwin 20 or 30 years ago. What's amazing is Mel Judah looks exactly the same in '97 as he does today.
