when you get good cards you have to bet enough to get the person with the crap cards to fold,if you dont bet enough they will stay in and might catch the card they need, and with crap cards FOLD them>>buckster436 P.S. unless you have the best hand and your sure of it (the nuts) then you can suck them in:cool:

tm,

good advice from buckster.

what are you betting with aa kk aa ?

are you going all in or at least betting the pot?

if not you are giving op. chance to draw.

just like they are giving you a cheap chance to draw.

yes take a cheap draw however do not give it:

best,

You can't control what happens on the river. With premium hands you've just got to take advantage of their preflop value. Don't slow play AA. Believe it or not, against 2 opponents your AA is only about 60% to win. After that you become an underdog. A bet of 3 to 5 time the big blind is usually enough to drive off the Riff-Raff.
P.S. This is probably not the right forum for this thread. Try Poker/General or Stratagies.

You've actually tapped into what Doyle Brunson's Super System is all about. AA and KK lose the big pots because if they get beat, they still go a long way with the hand. But hands like 65 will only bet big with hands that beat AA
such as a straight or two pair.
