Here is Marklar's step by step guide on how to crack someones Pocket Aces.

1. Call the minraise with a suited 97
2. Flop an open ended straight flush draw.
3. Move all-in
4. Catch runner-runner for two pair.

Well then, had I realized how easy it was I'd have started on this a long, long time ago. You should consider writing a book. There are a lot of people out there that would pay for this kind of information.

:D ;)

well, if its a minraise, call with just about anything.
but if its a substantial raise, 3x+ ...call if:
- they have the chips to "double you up"
- you belive you can extract their entire stack (thus playing lower suited connectors would be more beneficial, 10Js is too reasonable to limp with)
- anything else anyone would like to add.

With the example above, 78910d open ended straight flush draw on the flop. You technically do not have the better hand (since only 15 cards in the deck can help you directly, while 30 cards will help the AA), but you are the slight favourite to win by the River (54%)

Moose deserves what he got for miniraising with Pocket Aces. When will they learn?

He does have the better hand... 56% to win. AA doesn't really have any outs. Another Ace will not help if Marklar hits one of his.

Apart from the 15 outs, there are an extra 6 "outs to outs" - nines and sevens on the turn will make it 20 outs going to the river. They all count!
