I occasionally like to make a play for the blinds from the cutoff or button with A,rag. Of course, I'm more apt to do this when near the bubble and players are holding on for dear life. Was wondering what you think about calling or 3 betting when one of the blinds reraises in this situation?

Chip Stacks and reads are vital to be able to anwer your question with anything other than "it depends"

It all depends on how well you know the button, SB and BB and what your table image is. If they are Tags it's basically an insta fold to a reraise, even if it's the minimum ( scary ) stack size comes into play too. I would and have raised to steal in position with 84os, it all depends on the situation at the time.

calling is terrible and shows weakness, I'd probably chuck em most of the time, and in a few cases reraise.

oh, i was thinking about for cash, in tournaments its all dependent on the players, how many BB you have left, etc

Of course you're right. the question is too vague. Do, you often call/reraise a lag player in this case? Similar stacks with 10 BBs.. 20 BBs?

Who gives a damn what your cards are if you have a decent stack, have tight players in the blinds & good position..steal away with ATC.
IMHO

Against a LAG I might flat call and then use my position after the flop to try and take the pot away, but it's very read dependent. Basically, I have to feel it's a player that I can beat after the flop.
