That's a pretty excellent hand for Omaha Hi/Low, but pretty medium strength in PLO high.

@OP - can't help all that much really. There are decent resources for beginner/micro omaha on 2+2 as well as some free training vids floating around the internet which would probably be useful.

Obvious: AAAA, AAAx, AAxx, etc

Not obvious: Axs and a pair, A(K-T) and a pair, etc.

Premium hands like AKJJ 2 suited, AAKK, AAJT 2 suited et. But also hands like QJT9, are good in any position. Avoid hands like 55AT, 888A, etc.. I will not play hands with a hanger in the early spots either. I do not really like hand charts for PLO, but If you cannot call a pot bet, just fold to begin with.

I agree with him! AKsAKs is the best hand!

Do you know how to play PLO?

AAKK double suited is the best hand in PLO... As soon as you have 3 of a kind in your hand, chuck it away.

Hands that work together are what you're looking for.

Double paired, double suited, or "wraps" (6,7,9,T double suited) etc etc kinda hands.

Remember you have 4 cards at your disposal but can only use 2, but, if you get stuff like AKQ6 for example, you're pretty much only playing with the AKQ, cos that 6 doesn't really work with any of your other cards on most boards.

Just remembering little things like that will improve your game by miles compared to many of the microstakes PLO players on pokerstars

Any hand with a pair of aces and two senior cards (from ten to king) is the best in PLO. With these hands, you need to raise and reraise and even, if possible, go all-in pre-flop.
Senior couples (10 10 - KK KK) with successive cards are pretty strong and will perfectly serve you when you play heads-up. Playing against several opponents, you need to raise with these hands regardless of position.
Medium pairs with successive cards are especially strong against several opponents, as their value is in the coordinated draws and ready hands on the flop. These hands require reinforcement, but if you manage to get a set or a straight on the flop, then you can easily win a good pot. With such hands it is better to limp. For example, 8 8 7 6 or 7 7 8 9.
A K Q J or K Q J T are strong hands, but they easily dominate before the flop, especially with older pairs. In the early position with these hands you need to play carefully. In a late position, you can call a raise or even raise yourself.
