Please note that this will be the only thread on staking allowed. This is an un-official venture and Cardschat.com will not be held responsible in any way for losses incured by any party(s) making a deal.

Hey guys, I'm fronting for a group of CC Stakers who would like to offer you the opportunity of playing at a higher level than you play at the moment.
We're looking for players with a proven winning track record at 10nl who would like the chance to have a shot at 25nl. We will be offering a 2 month staking deal were we will supply you with up to 20 buy ins ($500) for the term of the stake.

If successful in your application you will enter a staking agreement and formally agree to adhere to a contract that will be provided.

So how do you apply?

We will only be accepting applications from CC members who have at least 200 posts (if you have less than that but are recommended by a more experienced member then we may consider your application.)

You must be able to provide proof winnings at your current level, this is usually done with PT/HEM.

You may be required to provide some insight into your play, this may be done either with a sweat session or possible you providing us with a video of you playing.

You must be able to play at least 50k hands over the 2 month term of the stake.

Further details of the stake will be provided here if requested.

So if your interested provide me with a brief (and I mean brief no more than a few paragraphs or so) synopsis of your poker history, what site you play on, if you have rakeback and whether 6max/full ring. One PM is enough, someone will be in touch within a few days, alternatively post here in this thread.

This thread will be monitored by a mod so if there's any spam it will get zapped immediately. If I recieve any begging PM's that member will get banned instantly.

I should also add that Graphs and the like would best be served if posted in this thread. All other details, private and personal be sent via PM but because there are 10 or so people involved it would be better if they are able to see it.

As you can see I crush 50HU for 11bb/100 over a significant sample. I will agree to a 70/30 split of profits in my favour and I keep all rakeback. I look forward to your PM.

Great opportunity for somebody. I would apply, but I'm not much above a break even player at 10NL yet.

Good luck to all that apply!

i think everyone is missing marginal's post, cant really make any assumptions about whether you stake material or not unless you post a graph for the backers to look at...

I would love to do this, but I don't have nearly enough time to guarantee 50k hands :( Good luck to whoever gets this!

Playing 10 25 c above 5 10 c I can't see how the hours you put in to then share your winnings is worth it. I think any good 10c players are better off reaching 750 dollars and giving it a 10 buyin shot them self. As you have 30 but if you loose 10 drop down and get back to 750 for another go.

I could see this being worth it if coaching was included on a regular basis so you would advance from 25c to 25 50c rather quickly and so on.

I believe that everyone involved in the staking group would happily offer their services for HH review or going over HEM replayer stuff, not sure if CP was paying for coaching but I know that ChuckTs was doing some stuff with him too.

Its a chance to quickly move up to the next limit with no fear of runbad or BRM worries, I went from having $80 in my account and taking shots at 5nl to playing 10nl over night, obv I had prev results at 5nl and was rebuilding after a break but it would have took me a few months to even start taking shots at 10nl. I havent ran amazing and its been a pretty pointless venture for all concerned when it comes to my stake imo but I still would take the chance again tomorrow, the poss was there to (even splitting profits 50/50) build up a decent size roll for myself, plus if your on FT you can save all the FTP's thus having even more padding thru RG tickets when you eventually are out on your own.

People should be taking advantage of this big time!

the thing really is this: how much time would it take you to get there? if you would have to spend a few months trying to possibly maybe get enough in your bankroll to take that shot, then it is definitely worth it. not to mention the fact that once those people have an interest in your play, you would be able to get advice/analysis from them very easily.

also, if you have the right ability (and depending on the agreement of course), playing on the level above will be more profitable even after the split than playing your normal level by yourself. why? because half the winnings/rakeback will be about equal to what you'd be making on the level below, but the other benefits will be proportionally bigger, be they site points, IronMan medals, whatever. not to mention the added benefit of the mental comfort about the situation - you have a cushion where your losses do not hurt (as much) and should be able to play your A-game that much longer.
