This is a hand i played today just wondering what you do in this situation
This is 2nl.
Had a player that was opening alot of pots but was fairly passive when getting played back at (player x) and a complete fish who had no idea what was happening in life (player y)

player x opens the pot for 6c from the CO
Player y Flats from BTN
I am in the BB with :kd4::qd4: I reraise to $0.20 and player X comes over the top to $1.05 player y folds and Hero?????

i know this is normally a fairly easy fold as alot of the time you are crushed by AK AQ type hands but even though this player was passive i had also seen him do alot of bluffy 3 Bet 4 bet type plays...He was fairly aggressive pre flop

When you say passive when getting played back at do you mean calling all the time?....he opened from CO so he's on a big range trying to steal blinds...he could have a monster here though although x5 your reraise is pretty awful sizing....dunno, I guess you have to go on your gut instinct here....I would fold marginals here and small/medium pp's if I saw him do this with a big hand before.

Grab the hand from Stars and converter it then post it in Hand Analysis section :) youll get a lot more responses!

However, if I plan to make a squeeze player here Im making my 3-bet to like .26 or something. I think .20 is small because the pot is larger than usual because the BTN flatted.

Not sure if this is 6 max or FR?

I dont think Im going to be calling an AI with KQs though vs player x becuz if hes passive when getting played back at he is going to have a higher fold to 3-bet%, right? So if he plays back at us, his raise looks a lot stronger because its something he rarely does. Therefore, his range is a lot smaller = better hands. Not sure what you put this player on but I doubt youre ahead or even flipping against him with KQs. Fold it and wait for another spot

Flat pre, fold to the re-raise as played.
