Ouch, I hate folding a pocket pair on the flop and seeing it pop up on the turn.

I folded 1010 on the turn to a small bet and a call in front of me and was thinking "Well it is a small bet but with a bettor and a caller, I am never in the lead here", river is a 10 and they get it in with TPTK and 2 pair :(

Don't let it get you down though, in the long run calling is a losing play and you made a good fold.

stack multiple FR tables and you'll never know that your set would have come, saves you getting tilted and adjusting your play and spewing money as a result.

No. it doesn't. I used to let that affect my play, but I'm over it.

I play 4 tables max, tiled so I can keep an eye on players on all tables to see what they're doing. But unfortunately I still miss stuff. I don't tilt any more over stuff like that.

I have made many a sets on the turn after I folded but what can you do about it. And in this particular situation you were facing a 3 bet so there is no question of calling.

Its when I fold to a rather small bet on the flop only to see my set on the turn that I feel really bad.

How could you fold when everyone checks and the button make a silly bet of 3 times the pot. The bet itself indicates his hand is weak. It was a pretty simple call really. No way should you fold over pair in this situation.

You serious? There is still the initial raiser to act behind him, would never be a profitable call in the long term. Also, it would either be fold or shove here since there is sooo many turn cards you hate. Not a good spot to stack off, so fold fold fold.

Initial raiser has already acted . He checked behind in a multi way pot so that is why i would call and not shove. The only thing which would have me worried is the initial raiser shoving after we call. So i would call and if Initial raiser shoves and gets called by button i would look at how much to call. If amount is small and i get good odds i will still call. I fold if initial raised has a big stack. So i don't mind investing 1 $ in this situation because i think the button has a weak hand. And with the kind of bet button made not many turn cards would scare me either.

By the way my signature is inspired by yours. :p
