your VPIP and PFR look fairly solid, you are 3betting too wide 7% is a tad high you should be in the 4-5% range, and you're too agressive, solid players usually fall between 3-4% AF.

Might be a sample size issue but can't be sure, you look fairly decent with a few leaks.

yeah I know its a small sample, I'm playing very tight aggro like you say probably too aggressive - I'm trying to play as little OOP as possible so its fold or 3bet most of the time when I'm OOP to either take betting lead or get out of the hand. so would you suggest folding more? or calling more? 1 quick question - as a general rule do you think its a good idea to open raise weak hands on the BTN against loose players whether they're aggressive or not? eg 8-10s or a-trash?

You're right, I myself try to play as little pots OOP as I possibly can because we always want position it makes our life easier so you're right to 3bet as opposed to just calling, i'd say you should be folding more and avoid calling OOP where possible. As for your last question it really depends on what level your playing at, at the lower limits your main edge is going to be simply value betting better than your opponents as opposed to stealing, you should be opening quite a narrow range against loose blinds in general though..

Sorry I didn't state its 5nl, I think my light 3bet success is higher vs tight players - if they play back its an easy fold, if they flat its a cbet (which often works)and then shut down

if it's working for you and you're a winning player then their is no need to change your 3b% in any way or any of your other stats for that matter, if it ain't broke don't fix it.

well i'm no expert at all, I play mostly 2NL zoom and run at 6.2bb/100 over 100k hands. My stats are VPIP:15 PFR:10.7 3B:4.08 ABC fundamentals really should be enough to give you some sort of a win rate and the same goes for 5NL as I have experience there aswell. Over 14k you really should be starting to see decent winnings, however I can't say in your case whether it is down to variance or you aren't playing optimally. But yeah as you say just keep plugging away there is a ton of great information on this forum and lot's of people who are willing to help and give you information. Post hands and ask questions and i'm sure you'll be well on your way, good luck brother!

Thank you very much for this question and answers. I am trying to analyze my play much more closely to stop/limit leaks in my game. You both gave me things to work on and to think about. Yay for poker homework. Cheers!
