Yeah its kinda something that we would have to talk about and regulate. But would it not be a good idea to make a donk list?....I mean, if we made a sticky for donks filtered by the website.....I.e. pokerstars donks, full tilt donks....etc...etc....And I know your response will be most donks run out of money fast....I.e. you will have a hard time finding them again....but what if we updated it on a regular basis....etc...etc....lets say I'm playing on ubet and I want to see if there is anyone I might want to play with on my limits who is a complete moron.....or playing drunk haha....come to cardschat, look at that sticky and I see.....bubbleboy2213 was playing 88/55/5 earlier on 25nl. I look him up, see that he is sitting at whatever table and play.....

I don't know, this is an idea I had....let me know what you think....

Terrible idea imo.
Players google them self,ok bad players maybe not as much but what messages is it sending to that player that the suposedly "friendliest poker forum on the net" has his name on the donk list?
Would you have sticked around at CC if one of the first post you saw was a donk list with your name on it?
This list would probably mean less people would sign up after seeing there name on the list.
I think this idea even came up some time ago but was forbiden for obvs. reasons.

Just do what the rest of us do, have a word doc full of these names ;).
Just dont post them on a open forum.

You could start a little business on this idea. Create a list of donks and then sell these lists to others who want some easy prey. You could create a rating system as to how easy they are to peel money from. Just keep that business separate from CC. Novel idea...

I think this was tried here once and it went over like a turd in a punch bowl. I think it would do more harm then good. Tipping off donkeys as to how they are perceived is not a smart way to profit from them, imo.

Plus donkeys are people, too. Wouldn't want to offend potential members. Cardschat's goal is to welcome ALL poker players, not just non-donkeys.

I'm really against this idea. Even ignoring the fact that it's not appropriate for this forum at all, it's not practical. My definition of a donkey is probably different than yours, which is probably different than that of most other people on the forum. It's so subjective.

I always keep notes on Full Tilt but I doubt your system would work because all someone would have to do is use a friends account to label themselves a donk and wait for the railroad treatment. Get a hand and cash in.

Plz keep my name of've this list:D .

Personally your idead sounds sane, and even though it has a good purpose behind it, the problem is like others have stated these so called donks are ppl, and nobody on here, wants to offend other ppl. The purpose of this site is to welcome others, so I mean sane, logical idea, but could be tooken as offensive.

And seriously keep me away from this list. I choose to be black listed from your idea:p

Sounds similar but in fact, what he wants to do is make a list of donkeys WE have encountered, but why would we give away our ATMs:p

To me that thinking is like a thief targeting a house without a burgular alarm. Or someone who didnt lock his doors.

Besides, people's game changes and evolves.
A player can be a donk and evolve into a Solid player later on.

Donk list

A donk list is a bad idea just because someone can play dumb one day and play well the next. They could be drunk, stoned, or simply not wanting to play any longer when they make dumb plays. Tilt happens all the time. A list won't help.

Are you making excuses in case you're on someone's buddy list? :D A list certainly can help, you can wait until you've played sufficient hands or sessions to add someone or you can always remove them if they significantly improve their game. If someone wants to drop several buyins just so they can "get a hand and cash in" I'd be happy to play that game.

I think that many people starting as donks.
Poker must learn to tactics and from Donk can be good player in future.
I started only month ago and after I have 3 rd place of private tournament at Iron Duke:).

Give everybody chance to see and play with poker players, they will have a new experiences and next times can Donk beat you!

I think that is not good idea.

this would just be offensive. i mean it is an interesting idea, but people should play poker how they want to play. if they want to make outrageous calls and bets, good for them. in the long run, donks lose all of their money and they will learn

The real problem with donk lists is that it's hard to keep up to date. Got quite a few people i added to my buddy list after pwning them at 100nl and now when I look them up they're playing $2 sngs, play money tables or freerolls.

There should be a way to tell the rich donks apart from the near busto ones, imo.
