I limp from almost all positions with small pairs and call small raises. Try to see a flop a cheaply as possible and just give them up if you don't hit.

If you feel you're in a good position like on the button and everyone folded to you...raise them up...

But if you're UTG...I'd limp in and hope to hell I hit some trips and slow play these bitches...:D

this post is a little too broad for me to evaluate how pocket pairs are best played. There are so many different situations when holding pocket pairs, it is hard to give just one general answer. Sure, you would like to see a cheap flop and hit a set, but we all find ourselves in coinflip situations, all in, pre flop.

Any HH where we could analyze your play a little deeper would be much easier for me and the cardschat members to evaluate how pocket pairs should be played in certain situations.
