Slowplay the standard at 25NL?
I'm currently running horribly at 25NL, and I'm having a difficult time adjusting to the difference in play between 10NL and 25NL. One thing that's really thrown me for a loop is that it seems as if 75% of the players at this limit slowplay every big hand.
They limp-raise AA and KK, and will complete the SB with JJ and then check to the river.
And it seems like the standard is to check-raise instead of bet. Doesn't matter if it's a bluff or the nuts, players will gladly check to the river, then as you as you take a stab, they check-raise.
I'm already adjusting my play, but am I just reacting to a small sample of play, or is slowplaying the "go-to" move for the vast majority of 25NL players on PokerStars
