Maybe that's what I'm doing wrong...
Hi All,
Been reading your posts, wonderful insights and I'm sitting here thinking maybe that's what I'm doing wrong. It seems as if JJ is notoriously bad luck for me. I mean practically every single time I get them I lose. Even if I end up with that 3rd J on the board, someone has a straight or get this - the 3rd J is a club or a heart thus giving someone else their flush. Situation where it's helping me, but helping the other player better. Only now I'm stuck, calling cause really I'm not sure if the other guy is
bluffing because I haven't been aggressive. Yes that magical card that boots me out usually comes on the turn or the river.
Perhaps I should play the JJ a little more aggressively in the beginning. Still I've found, there are some players that'll call you no matter how big the bet and funny thing - even though your hand is better starting out - in the end, they're victorious. Are they psychic or something(lol). Well, just my thoughts and I think I'll try playing a little more aggressively. I can see where I've lost a lot of pots because my lack of aggression would be considered slow playing - even though it wasn't on purpose. My thought pattern I guess is to milk the hand and see if I can get steady, more cash. Bad move on my part, milking turns into spilt, spoiled milk(lol).
Bye for now.:flybye:
